Built for nutritionists, formulators & mill operators

Feed formulation infrastructure for serious mills.

Blendmaven brings ingredient libraries, per-feedmill costing, nutrient targets, and role-based governance into one multi-tenant workspace — so your team can stop wrestling spreadsheets and start formulating with confidence.

The problem

Spreadsheets weren't built for multi-mill operations.

Most feed teams still piece formulation together with a patchwork of locked Excel files, scattered cost sheets, and tribal knowledge in someone's inbox. As soon as you add a second mill, a new currency, or a formulator on a different shift, the system breaks.

Blendmaven replaces that with a single source of truth — ingredients and nutrients defined once at the organization level, costs and overrides handled per feedmill, and every saved solution captured with its full ingredient and cost snapshot.

Capabilities

Four pillars, one workspace.

Each domain is purpose-built for the way feed teams actually operate — and they share the same multi-tenant foundation.

Formulation

Build formulas per feedmill with ingredient inclusion, nutrient targets, and saved solutions captured with full ingredient and cost snapshots.

Costing

Track stock and market rates per ingredient at every mill, in the mill's own currency. Pricing reflects what raw materials actually cost today.

Governance

Multi-tenant organizations with owner, admin, and member roles, scoped settings, and active-organization context — so the right team sees the right data.

Data operations

Bulk-import ingredient and nutrient libraries from CSV, control display ordering, and track coverage in the operational dashboard.

How it works

From raw data to a finished formula in three steps.

01

Import your data

Bring ingredient libraries, nutrient definitions, and feedmill cost sheets in via CSV. Define units, decimal precision, and display order once.

02

Formulate & price

Build per-mill formulas with inclusion limits, nutrient targets, and dual cost sets. Save solutions with full ingredient and cost snapshots.

03

Govern access

Scope access by role, override nutrients per mill where biology demands it, and review past saved solutions when you need to.

Spotlight

Saved solutions, with the full snapshot attached.

When a formula is saved, the ingredient mix, nutrient profile, and cost set are captured together — so the version you saved is the version you can come back to.

  • Ingredient prices and nutrient values captured at save time
  • Per-feedmill nutrient overrides preserved
  • Stock or market cost set recorded with each solution
  • Print-ready formula reports for sharing and sign-off

FAQ

Common questions from feed teams.

If something here isn't covered, a short call is usually the easiest way to find out if Blendmaven fits your operation.

Who is Blendmaven for?
Nutritionists, formulators, procurement leads, and operations teams at feedmills running multiple species or multiple mills. If you've outgrown spreadsheets but a full ERP rollout is overkill, you're our user.
How is data isolated between organizations?
Every ingredient, nutrient, formula, and feedmill is scoped to an organization. Members only see what they've been granted access to, and the active-organization context follows them through the app.
Can different mills override nutrient values?
Yes. Ingredient nutrition is defined once at the organization level, but each feedmill can apply per-ingredient overrides where local biology, source variation, or analysis requires it.
How do you handle costing across currencies?
Each feedmill has its own currency and its own cost data — both stock and market rates per ingredient. Formulas always price in the mill's own currency.
Can we onboard with our existing spreadsheets?
Yes. Bulk CSV import is built in for ingredients and nutrients, with validation that surfaces malformed headers, units, and values before you commit.
How is access controlled?
Three role tiers per organization — owner, admin, and member — plus organization-scoped settings, session controls, and an active-org context that prevents cross-tenant data leakage.
What does pricing look like?
Pricing is tailored to the size of your operation — number of feedmills, formulas, and team members. Talk to us and we'll put together a fit assessment.

A short call is enough to understand your mills, species, and current tooling — and to show you the parts of the product that map to them.
